Slowdive / Primavera Sound + Best Kept Secret
Finally---pro-shot, broadcast video is finding its way out from the Slowdive shows of the past month or so. Slack jaws and tears all around. And in the clip above from Primavera Sound, you get some of the best footage of a HOLMES skinny strap ever put down. Check the 10-minute mark and wait for it.

Slowdive / Hoxton Bar
Last night in East London, a moment I'm sure few people ever thought they might see: the return of Slowdive. The venue was the Hoxton Bar and the event was Sonic Cathedral's 10th anniversary party. Slowdive was a day-of announcement.
From the pictures and video that have been posted, it looked to be an amazing night. HOLMES was there in a small way --- see straps on Neil Halstead's Telecaster above, and Epiphone Casino, below.
The last show Slowdive played previous to Hoxton was May 21st, 1994.
Spiritualized / Los Angeles
On Valentine's day, Spiritualized christened the newly renovated United Artists Theater (now the Theater at The Ace) in downtown Los Angeles, playing 'Ladies and Gentleman We Are Floating in Space' in its entirety with orchestra and choir. Pretty special night, and the setting made for a sweet reunion with the custom SPACEMAN strap I made for J. last year.
