New video from Retribution Gospel Choir making the rounds today. Fronting is Alan Sparhawk (LOW)---look for the left wrist and you'll see a HOLMES saddle stitch cuff. Duluth represents.
Well, here it is---today marks the first day with the new HOLMES site up and fully functioning. We've finally carved our own little plot. As for this space, this blog, we'll see how and where it goes. Everything before today has been moved over from the former HOLMES tumblr site. Strap sightings will continue, just because it's good fun. Probably some shots of works in progress will appear here and there, random musings, and whatever else occurs in the moment.
Because you've found HOLMES and are reading this, feel free to use the following coupon code in the shop---good for 15% off the total of any order:

It will be good for two weeks from the date of this posting. And again---thx for being here.
Good to see Alan Sparhawk (LOW) still logging miles with a HOLMES Saddle Stitch cuff. The shot is from Barcelona, 3.27.12.

New video from Will Johnson with a HOLMES custom stamped strap present. Will's guitar is a Creston, made from the stave of a locomotive water tank on the Trans-American railroad c.1860's.

Brad + Phil Cook of Megafaun with custom MEGAFAUN straps, Europe 2012. Not sure how to get more awesome than this.

Lee Ranaldo & Leah Singer: CONTRE JOUR, Toronto, 10.21.11. Lee’s strap is a HOLMES---looking good even in a jumble amongst the pedals.

HOLMES makes its Madison Square Garden debut, 12.14.11. Carl Broemel of My Morning Jacket with a tan custom floral strap on his Les Paul Gold Top. Some decent shots of the strap at just about the 3:30 mark.
